Job Details:

Minimum Requirements:

500+ hours PIC on type
Current on type within 12 months
3000+ hours total time
Must be between 30 and 45 years of age

Valid/current ATPL issued from a country that has diplomatic relations with the Peoples Republic of China
Valid passport issued by a country that has diplomatic relations with the Peoples Republic of China
Valid/current Class A (First Class) Medical
No history of incidents or accidents. Must provide a letter from your current/previous employer.
ICAO Level 4 (or equivalent) English proficiency
No criminal history. Must provide a notarized and authenticated proof of no criminal history document from your home country government AND the government of the country you reside (if applicable)
No license limitations - If you have the Circ-approach VMC only" limitation on your license, you must get the limitation removed before you can begin training. You can attend the interview with the limitation on your license, but it must be removed before the CAAC check ride.

Domicile: Xi’an, Dalian, Huhhot, Haikou or Guiyang

Total Compensation:: all amounts include base salary, allowances and bonus.  Taxes in China will be paid by the airline.  See note below.  

Option 1: (90 days off per year)   $20,471 per month 
Option 2: (110 days off per year)  $19,138 per month 
Option 3: (120 days off per year)  $18,471 per month
Option 4: (130 days off per year)  $17,804 per month
Option 5: (4 weeks on, 4 weeks off) $15,138 per month
Option 6: (3 weeks on, 3 weeks off)  $16,138 per month
Option 7: (6 weeks on, 3 weeks off)  $18,338 per month

Contract Term: 4 years renewable

NOTE: A maximum of 14 days paid leave will be allowed per calendar month. Commuting schedule starts AFTER ground school.

Overtime over 80 hours: $240/hr.

Upgrade ot A320 in average of two years.

Bonus (included in above):

After completion of 1st year - $12,000USD
After completion of 2nd year - $18,000USD
After completion of subsequent years - $23,000USD

RENEWAL BONUS:  $5,000 per year additional bonus per year for those who renew their contracts.

Training pay: $9,000 per month during ground school (maximum 52 working days, not including off days). 80% Salary during line training (maximum 73 working days, not including off days), and 90% during final observation until fully qualified (maximum 49 working days, not including off days).

5 days of Sick Leave per year

Flight benefits: $8,000 per year travel allowance (paid $2k per quarter). Maximum of 30 standby tickets Tianjin Airlines flights. Unlimited jumpseating for pilot on Tianjin domestic flights. 75% reduced travel available on Hainan Group flights.

Upgrade to A320 after 2-3 years of service. Will require to sign a new 4 year contract on the A320.

Additional Information:

The compensation amounts listed above have been provided by the airline.  The airline has agreed to pay all taxes owed in China on the different compensation amounts and provide a tax receipt to the pilot. All tax matters are handled by the airline including payment of tax and provision of a tax receipt. WASINC does not pay taxes on behalf of either the pilot or airline, nor does it provide tax receipts.  As taxes in China vary by jurisdiction and the type of payment received, we highly recommend that all candidates confirm directly with the airline as to how much tax is paid in China in order to obtain a full understanding of the compensation associated with the job listing.  Pilots are ultimately responsible for any tax owed in their home country which may or may not be affected by tax paid by the airline.
